Play In A Book Studio

Available for students grades K – 8 during the after school hours, this program builds skills in reading comprehension, oral reading fluency, vocabulary development, phonological awareness, drama, and teamwork all through the analysis, rehearsal, and performance of a play.  Students spend 10 sessions reading and discussing a classic story and learn how to bring the characters to life on stage for a culminating performance.  Play In A Book After School includes an introduction to theater as well as drama exercises that help engage the student in the art of the story.
